Welcome

Welcome!  I’m Silvana Bazet.  Here you will find information about my psychotherapy practice and my work as consultant, clinical supervisor and educator.

I have been in private practice for over 11 years and I have worked with people from all walks of life.  I do individual and couple psychotherapy (for both monogamous and polyamorous relationships).  I provide services in English and Spanish.  I strive to create a relaxing atmosphere where clients can feel comfortable and safe.  I have a practical approach that encourages reflecting on the present and making connections to the past to understand the feelings that are troubling clients right now.

I also specialize in working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, genderqueer, transgender and transsexual adults and their family members, as well as people from racialized and immigrant communities, including adult children of immigrants.

For more detailed information, please browse the pages listed on the right.

I am always happy to answer questions. You can contact me by phone at: 416-535-5705, or by email at: silvanabazet [at] hushmail [dot] com.

If you are looking for information regarding my research about  lesbian, bisexual and queer women, and trans people living with non-apparent or invisible chronic illnesses go to the “LGBTTIQ Research” page.
